Job Location: Corporate Headquarters – Sunnyvale, CA

Job Summary:
Senior Financial Analyst responsible for providing FP&A support to Network Appliance's WW HQ Sales organization.

Essential Functions: Provide day-to-day FP&A support to the HQ Sales organization, with a primary focus on incentive based compensation. Coordinate and drive the related budgets, forecasts and expense modeling. Coordinate and perform monthly close and forecasting activities and reporting. Provide analytical support for business decisions and compensation planning. Provide strong business partnering Sales Operations and Commissions Accounting. Possess strong analytical skills and an ability to work on complex modeling issues. Thorough understanding of all the cost drivers that impact sales commissions as it pertains to the ability to accurately forecast results and advise and influence Sales management. Understand statistical modeling.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated track record in providing financial planning and analysis support to a sales organization.
• Demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating forecasting, close process, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated high level understanding of sales compensation plans and compensation modeling.
• Strong experience in business partnering with Sales Operations and Commissions Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to work on complex issues.
• Attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture.
• Ability to develop complex business models.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with peers, management and across all levels of the organization including remote locations.
• Confident Self Starter.
• Customer Focus and results orientation.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting issues as they pertain to sales based compensation.
• 8-10 years experience in a medium to large company, preferably in the High Tech Industry.
• 3-5 Years experience of financial support of a sales organization.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle, and planning systems such as Hyperion Pillar or Khalix.

Education:
BS in Accounting, Finance or Related Field - MBA, CMA, CPA Preferred
