POSITION: Associate Director, FP&A

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Participate in the consolidation process and analysis of consolidated forecasted and actual results including on a monthly basis.
- support monthly reforecast process including: data collection and consolidation, reconciliation, report generation and process improvement.
- Analyze and prepare financial commentary on consolidated results as well as other Corporate P&L items.
- Serve as a liaison with various departments.
- Assist in process management and production of monthly executive summary to Senior Management, including preparation of supporting documentation and reports.
- Interact with various corporate groups to ensure accuracy and relevancy of consolidated results and related analysis.
- Participate and consult across multiple reporting processes including: earnings releases, external and internal reporting to Senior Management.
- Deliver presentations to Senior Management, Board of Directors, Investors, ratings agencies etc.
- Participate in the annual budget and long-term planning process with responsibility for the budget model used to calculate consolidated interest, taxes, share data and credit ratios.
- Provide updated financial projections on a quarterly and latest estimate on the full year outlook.
- Interface with external auditors and explain major variances from target.
- Work with functional departments on financial analyses.
- Ensure processes are consistent with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- MBA a plus.
- 10+ years related finance experience.
- Ability to influence decisions, drive processes and obtain results in an efficient, collaborative manner is necessary.
- Experience with Oracle or SAP system is strongly preferred.
- MS Office Suite proficiency especially with Excel.
- Solid experience in consolidation and internal/external financial reporting
- Life science industry experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of individuals.
