RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiles and analyzes internal financial information for an organization
Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
Performs financial forecasting and modeling
Identifies, researches and prepares evaluations on a variety of complex and diverse projects/problems (financial, operational & cost/benefit analyses)
Develops financial models, collects and evaluates data, makes appropriate assumptions, analyzes results and makes recommendations
Prepares and delivers formal presentations of results to Senior Managers
Margin analysis on products and customers
Assist with the development, testing and implementation of modification and enhancements to systems and procedures
Understand data structure and create queries/reports to mine the required data
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in the related field or Master degree with 3 years of experience
Experienced with independently preparing financial analyses and reports
Extensive knowledge of financial theories/methodologies used in corporate finance; accounting principles; applications and accounting/forecasting systems
Self-starter, high degree of creativity and latitude is required
Must be highly proficient with Excel and Access
Experience in creation of PeopleSoft Query, nVision, and/or Crystal report is a big plus
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and report writing skills required.
Strong project management skill required
Experience in new information system and Business Intelligence implementation
Knowledge and strong background in systems and using Business Intelligence tools for planning and reporting including but not limited to: Business Objects, Micro Strategy, Oracle, Microsoft, and/or Cognos
