The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or related field. A CPA is desirable, but is not required. Knowledge of Peoplesoft or other ERP strongly preferred. Prior experience or supervision of general ledger, accounts receivable and/or asset management. Ability to interface with all levels of management. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. At least 5 years experience in related field.
Responsible for full range of accounting functions for Corporate entity. Supervise staff of 3 accounting personnel with responsibility for general accounting, capital assets and accounts receivable cash applications. Work with company personnel throughout worldwide finance organization to ensure timely closure of company's financial books. Develop and prepare monthly metric package surrounding general ledger and submodule activity (i.e. manual journal entries, vouchers processed). Coordinate with external audit to provide documentation for financial audit and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Provide training and support to user community. Manage process for reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including maintaining reconciliation database. Prepare and/or review reconciliation of assigned accounts. Participate or lead system implementation efforts. Other projects as assigned.
