Accounting Manager Position

Kellogg Supply, Inc. is a manufacturer of garden soils and a distributor of specialty products, located in Carson, CA. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to fill our Accounting Manager position.
Responsibilities/Duties:
•Produce month-end financial statements by the 5th business day of the following month
•Account analysis
•Maintain schedules of accounts
•Responsible for financial statement of out-of-state division
•Bank reconciliations
•Work with auditors and other outside vendors
•Supervise 3 clerical positions
•Provide training to clerical staff
•Establish or adjust work procedures to meet reporting objectives
•Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
•Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
•BA/BS with concentration in Accounting
•At least five years public accounting or manufacturing industry experience
•Strong computer background
•Knowledge of accounting software
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Supervisory experience required
