Director Of Internal Audit

The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AUDIT to plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate, and direct the District's internal audit and special investigation functions.

SALARY: $102,627 - $127,137 (starting salary commensure with education and experience within the salary range)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a recognized four-year college or university, preferably with a major in accounting, business administration, public administration, economics, finance, or a closely related field or a valid license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in California AND Five years of professional level audit experience with an internal or commercial auditing unit or firm. Two years of the required experience must have been in a recent administrative or supervisory position over an auditing program. Also required: A California Class “C” driver’s license and use of an automobile must be obtained within 60 days of appointment; Must meet the requirements for bonding.
