Hi,

I am a california resident looking for a CPA. I need assistance with tax planning and preparation, with knowledge of small business issues (technology consulting) and real estate investment issues.

I found this site and a number of listings for independent CPAs in my area, which was great. What was disapppointing is that every one I clicked (20 of the listings) simply had their contact information, and nothing about their specialties. Did I miss something, or is it that this information has not been completed? Does anyone have recommendations of a resource for CPAs in California (Bay Area) that contains both contact and expertise information?

Thanks,

Eric

If you select Membership and then Find A CPA on the Society of California Accountants website, all you have to do is type in one of the search criteria such as a city or nearby city to get a list of CPAs in your area. Click on any of the listings and a profile including industries served and niche services should be available to the extent that the member created his or her listing. Some listings also have a link to the member's own website which should provide an even more complete description of services available. Hope this helps you.
